The end of 2019
January 9, 2020
This year has been an amazing year, and the Lord has been good in so many ways. Two of my favorite parts of the ministry here at MEDA are watching God’s hand over the ministry and observing the training of pastors in using God’s Word. I just want to thank my partners in the ministry for your prayers and for your financial help.
This year started off with the development of the international programs for MEDA or what we call MEDA International Missions (MIM). MIM’s goal is to provide opportunities for young adults to serve in missions while supporting the seminary both physically and financially. The program officially launched in March of 2019 and is now in full swing. In 2020, we project having around twelve interns and ten groups come through the program. The combined contributions that the groups and interns are projected to raise will help in the training of eight pastors for the course of one year. My goal in working with MEDA is to develop a revenue-generating program so that the seminary becomes more self-sufficient.
Aside from MIM, I have been involved in my local church working with the children in the children’s church as well as going through the process of becoming a deacon in the church. It has been a blessing to be a part of a local church that is Christ-centered and has its focus on Him.
All in all, 2019 was a good year from the highs of weddings, graduations, and seeing people saved to the lows of funerals, sicknesses, and experiencing good friends walking away from the faith. There is still one thing that brings comfort and joy, whatever the circumstances, and that is knowing that God is in control. Please continue to pray for me that I “run the race that is set before me.”
