January - March 2022
The two months’ I spent in the States was a time of rest and reconnection. I was blessed to be able to visit with a few churches, raising support and promoting MEDA International Missions. The response of the church was overwhelming; it was a joy to learn of their eagerness to support me and get involved in MIM’s ministry. I also enjoyed a short visit with my 91-year-old grandfather and started off the year as a groomsman in my best friend’s wedding, a privilege that will be a dear memory for years to come.
Back at MEDA, I am in awe of the Lord’s hand at work. There are 12 church groups coming this year, and the first one arrives on Thursday. These STM teams will be serving both on campus and in the community, helping with everything from construction projects, to Vacation Bible Schools, to dentistry services at Clinica Betania. By the Lord’s grace, SEPE is also thriving, with 18 new students comprising the incoming class. Although I covet your prayers for the work ahead, I am so blessed to see MEDA becoming a bustling place again after the quiet Covid months.
As I reflect on the Lord’s blessings, I am so thankful for your faithful support, both prayerfully and financially. Your support is an investment with rippling effects, making physical assistance to the community and financial assistance to MEDA possible and bearing the fruits of pastoral training and gospel proclamation. With me being at 80% of my approved budget, I will need $580 more a month to reach my monthly budget goal. If you have not already, please pray about supporting me on a regular basis. Your support is truly supporting missions in all its manifestations.
