February 2019

March 15, 2019

February was a busy and exciting month.  The month started off with all the seminary students arriving to start this year’s set of classes. This was interesting because two of the seminary students are living with me.  Kike is a second-year student from Columbia, and Adriano is a first-year student from Ecuador. I had the privilege of meeting Kike last year. This is Adriano’s first year; he had a hard first week but has settled in very well. It is nice to be sharing a house with these two other guys. With both of them being in seminary, our dinner table conversation often turns into theological discussions.

My work here is picking up, and it is switching from planning and communicating with groups to hosting and managing them while they are here. Our first group is coming in one week, so I am busy getting ready for them. At the same time, I am working hard with MEDA as we are in the final stages of our new internship program.

This month I started serving in a children’s church at my church. It has been great working with the kids and teaching them Bible verses. I am looking forward to using this opportunity to get more involved in my local church here in Honduras.

Thank you for all your prayers and support!

Ministry Updates:

Residency – all is going well. Last week I had to go to immigration to get a time extension to stay in Honduras for more than 90 days. As long as my residency is in processing, I can extend my time here until I either am given or denied residency. The lawyer still says I will be given residency in late March or April. Please pray that this process continues to go smoothly. I have really been blessed not to have had any issues thus far.

Prayer Request – Please pray for me as I lead and manage groups and interns this summer.

Support Update – I am thankful for your financial support and above all to have your prayer support.

Please pray that I will raise the $500 a month needed for support.
